Each year, we recognise the MPs across the country who work closely with disadvantaged and underrepresented communities. The winners of these awards are selected by an independent panel of judges based on their contribution to representing underrepresented communities, but we need you to help us identify those that should be recognised first. This year, alongside your MP of the Year, you can also nominate your Politian of the Year and Community Champion, recognising those who have made significant contributions to their local communities. We invite you to nominate your peers, colleagues or local champions for their work.

Nominations for 2025 are now open until Monday, 30th June 2025.

  • The Community Champion Award is part of our MP of the Year Awards and was introduced to recognise and celebrate members of the public who have made significant contributions to their local communities. Nominations should fall into one of the four categories: Advocacy and Influence; Community Engagement; Impact and Innovation; Leadership and Inspiration.
  • The Politician of the Year Award, part of our MP of the Year Awards, is introduced to recognise and celebrate MPs, councillors, and mayors who have made significant contributions to their local communities. This award honours those who excel in Advocacy and Influence, Community Engagement, Impact and Innovation, and Leadership and Inspiration.
  • If you select yes, you provide permission for the Patchwork Foundation to contact you via email if you are successful.
