The Patchwork Foundation executive team presented Boris Johnson, a special award for all his support for our work over the last 8 years as Mayor of London.

Boris Johnson, Mayor of London (2008 – 2016) said:

Thank you for the honour of being presented with a Patchwork Foundation Award. I have supported Patchwork since it’s first event, and I am delighted to receive this special recognition. It has been a priority during my time as Mayor to ensure all Londoners benefit from the success of this city, and that communities come together to help each other do so. I look forward to continuing to work with Patchwork as you help young Londoners from deprived, vulnerable and minority backgrounds to have the opportunities they deserve and improve social mobility.
