“Many people from underrepresented backgrounds feel as though we do not belong in political spaces. Patchwork tries to teach young people that you have just as much right as anyone else, and that source of discomfort can be transformed into a source of unique strength.”
The MP of the Year Awards celebrate the work of MPs from across the country who actively work with underrepresented and disadvantaged communities across the UK. The winners of these awards are selected by an independent panel of judges, based on their contribution to representing under represented communities, but we need you to help us identify those that should be recognised first.
This is your opportunity to help us recognise those MPs who have gone above and beyond, and deserve to have their work celebrated.
Nominate your chosen MP here. Nominations close at midnight on 19th July 2020.
You can nominate as many MPs as you like – these will then be taken forward for the Public Choice Award (decided on by members of the public) and for the Judge’s Choice. You can find more about the process, and a list of previous winners here.
