Over the last five years, I have seen Patchwork grow from strength to strength. It’s work with underrepresented communities, especially young people, is not only important to get young people involved in our democracy, but has also completely changed so many people’s lives.
The MP of the Year Awards celebrate the work of MPs from across the country who actively work with underrepresented and disadvantaged communities across the UK. The winners of these awards are selected by an independent panel of judges, based on their contribution to representing under represented communities, but we need you to help us identify those that should be recognised first.
This is your opportunity to help us recognise those MPs who have gone above and beyond, and deserve to have their work celebrated.
Nominate your chosen MP here. Nominations close at midnight on Friday 5th July 2019.
You can nominate as many MPs as you like – these will then be taken forward for the Public Choice Award (decided on by members of the public) and for the Judge’s Choice. You can find more about the process, and a list of previous winners here. The MP of the Year Awards are sponsored by KPMG, with the Public Choice Category sponsored by the COSARAF Charitable Foundation.
You can watch the highlights of last year’s Awards below.
