Patchwork Master Class delegates 2015/16 attended a special youth delegation visit and master class with the Melanie Dawes, Permanent Secretary of Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) and Civil Service Gender Champion. The masterclass has held at the Home Office / DCLG office and was attend by Patchwork’s Patron John O’Brien.
Melanie Dawes said:
“It was great to meet such an impressive and enthusiastic group of young people – I enjoyed speaking to them all. It is vital that we encourage young people from all communities to understand and get involved in politics, which is why I was happy to support the Patchwork Foundation’s master class programme.”
