Saj was appointed as CEO of the Patchwork Foundation in 2024, after six years at the Naz Legacy Foundation. After completing her Masters in Politics, Saj spent the early years of her career in Parliament, working for an MP. Saj is a proud Patchwork Alumni, having completed the Masterclass programme in 2015.

Salah is working to support the Chief Executive and Patchwork, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a passion for supporting organisational excellence. He graduated from SOAS with a degree in International Management (Middle East and North Africa) and spent a year abroad in Jordan working for an NGO and completed an MA in Law from The University of Law. His academic and professional journey is marked by his commitment to effectiveness, accuracy, and a proactive approach to executive responsibilities. Salah’s passion for creating opportunities to embrace community cohesion, his dedication to streamlining processes, and his collaborative spirit fuel his desire to become an integral part of the Foundation’s mission to positively impact society.

Felita started as our Senior Programmes and Communications Manager in Summer 2026, and brings with her a strong grounding in political engagement, programme delivery and stakeholder communications. She graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in International Social and Public Policy, where her dissertation explored the impact of the cost-of-living crisis on disadvantaged students’ experience and enjoyment of higher education. Felita has previously worked as an Executive Officer to an MP, and as a Campaigns Organiser for a local constituency political party. Her academic and professional journey is marked by a commitment to accessible, participant-focused delivery and clear, consistent communication. Felita’s passion for widening access to civic and political life fuels her drive to help build pathways that bring the next generation of changemakers into public life.

Indie Love Gordon Head of Programmes at Patchwork is a multi-award-winning entrepreneur, government consultant, UN delegate, angel investor, and global speaker. She is the founder of several influential brands, including Halo—a cutting-edge safety app and the 40% Club, the UK’s first open mic pitch night. Her work is dedicated to building spaces where dreams are nurtured through growth and defined by meaningful impact. As an entrepreneurial activist, Indie is known for disrupting the traditional business ecosystem, championing opportunities for rising stars to innovate and shape the future. She is deeply committed to cultivating environments where unicorn companies can thrive, grounded in the belief that everyone holds the potential for greatness.

Joel Calvin is Programme Manager at Patchwork Foundation and an experienced policy consultant, education specialist and programme leader. He has advised Members of Parliament on education, SEND, employment rights and artificial intelligence, producing policy reports, parliamentary briefings and contributions to national debates.

His wider experience includes delivering programmes and impact reporting for the Mayor of London’s Violence Reduction Unit, leading research across education, criminal justice and public health, and convening policymakers, educators and community leaders. He has also managed complex partnerships and designed initiatives that translate policy priorities into practical support for communities.

A neurodiversity ambassador, Joel is committed to improving representation, widening access to leadership and ensuring that public institutions reflect the communities they serve. At Patchwork Foundation, he applies this experience to creating meaningful pathways into politics and public service for young people from underrepresented backgrounds

Simin is Patchwork’s Programmes Coordinator, where she works across programme delivery and events to coordinate initiatives for young people from underrepresented communities. She holds a BSc in Business and Management from the LSE and has spent several years in mission-led environments working across education, healthcare, technology, and social impact, managing complex programmes and large-scale events.
Outside of her professional roles, Simin has volunteered extensively, largely in community outreach across the country, mentoring, and supporting widening participation in NHS-affiliated community organisations, as well as spending a summer in Malaysia working at a UNHCR-established school. It is this commitment to civic life that drew her to Patchwork, where she looks forward to bringing her programme delivery experience to work that puts underrepresented communities at its heart.
